Danielle F. Jung is Assistant Professor of Political Science at Emory University. She studies governance and social organization in fragile states. In particular, she is interested in governance in illicit organizations, particularly terrorist and insurgent groups. She also uses field experiments and conducts impact evaluations to study social organization, accountability, fraud, and political mobilization in emerging democracies. Jung received her PhD from UCSD, and prior to Emory she was a post-doc on the Empirical Studies of Conflict Project at Princeton University.
