Jessica L.P. Weeks is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin—Madison. Her research focuses on how domestic politics affect foreign policy in both democracies and non-democracies, and the link between public opinion in democracies and foreign policy. Weeks received her PhD in Political Science from Stanford University and a Master’s in International History from the Graduate Institute in Geneva. Her articles have been published or are forthcoming in the American Political Science Review, the American Journal of Political Science, International Organization, and World Politics. Her book, Dictators at War and Peace, was published in 2014. Her work has been funded by institutions such as the National Science Foundation and the Smith Richardson foundation.
