2013 OAIS Blogging Awards' 'Best New Blog' Finalists

Political Violence @ a Glance has advanced to the finalist stage in the ‘Most Promising New Blog’ category of the 2013 OAIS Blogging Awards, hosted by the good folks at the Duck of Minerva. A big thanks to everyone who voted for us, and to Dan Nexon and Mike Horowitz for administering the awards. In the individual blog post category, Amelia Hoover Green, Dara Kay Cohen, and Elisabeth Jean Wood’s November post “Is Wartime Rape Declining On a Global Scale? We Don’t Know — And It Doesn’t Matter” is also a finalist.

Be sure to visit the other finalists in the Most Promising New Blog category: Grand Blog Tarkin, which discusses strategy in speculative fiction; the Smoke Filled Room, the work of Washington, DC political science PhD students; and Suffragio, which covers foreign politics. Also, do check out all the other nominated blogs — there’s great writing and analysis out there.
