Juan Tellez is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of California, Davis. He received his PhD in Political Science from Duke University in 2019. His research interests include armed conflict, security and development, Latin America, and post-conflict transitions. Tellez has consulted for the Model Police Precinct Project in Guatemala, the Long-Term Impact of Indonesia’s PNPM Generasi Program and the Performance Evaluation of Colombia’s Land and Rural Development Program.
